Craft Pricing Calculator — This is an iPhone app that is super simple to use yet is VERY helpful!

The information needed for this app to work is as follows:
— Cost of materials
- Number of items made
- Time taken
- Hourly wage ($) — this is what you want to pay yourself
- Retail profit markup (%) — this is typically 3x what it cost you to make

Thimble

Thimble is an app that gives small businesses such as craft business the option to get business insurance. Coverage options on demand or monthly; you can choose to be covered for an hour, week, or monthly. You can get a Certificate of Insurance instantly to your email in seconds. In addition, you can change the policy at anytime. It is simple to add new crew members, insure additional crew, and adjust the policy in real time.

I don’t personally use Thimble because I have never needed to get insurance for any of my craft shows. However, I have checked pricing between our insurance agency and Thimble and Thimble was less than half the price. This seems like such a great option when a craft show requires insurance that you don’t need to pay for all year round.

Canva

Canva is a great tool for advertising. It has many different templates for posts for Facebook, Pinterest, and many more. It also has logo templates, Youtube thumbnails, and invitations, and Videos, This short description really downplays the amazing-ness of Canva. If you want to advertise and/or sell anything, I highly recommend you use Canva to do so.
